& Happy Holidays
from Mommy Time-Out!
Can you believe Christmas is already here?! I’m sure as moms you still have shopping to do, presents to buy, and pastries to bake. You are probably asking yourself “How is it possible to have my Mommy Time-Out this month?”
Now would be a good time for you to stop for a minute and ask yourself how many Time-Outs you have had this year. Regardless of whether you were consistent throughout the year or not, have you thought what you want your last one of the year to be? Perhaps you don’t want any presents for Christmas, you just want to sleep in a couple days, play video games with your kids or even read a book.
My family asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I told them I don’t need material things. I told them that what I do want is no whining, back talking, complaining or fighting. All I want is for my family to take care of me. Breakfast in bed, a foot massage, and total control of the TV remote for at least a day, maybe two!
So get creative for your last Mommy Time-Out of the year. Oh, and I believe asking your family to take care of you is not asking too much.
